You will serve as a SUPPLY MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the ofNAVSUP FLC YOKO REG . The location for this position is Garden Island, Australia. Employee's initial pay and compensation will be based upon their current duty station and/or residence as determined by the employing activity. ***See Additional Information section below for details***

Major duties

You will initiate and establish priorities and coordinate analysis to support recommendations and implantations of program procedures. You will engage with customers in a professional and supportive manner to address inquiries, provide information, and resolve concerns You will organize various modes of shipment consolidation, palletizing and repacking of materials to accomplish the mission. You will support command mission by maintaining specified quantifiable records of NAVSUP FLCY Site Stirling's transshipment for the purpose of monitoring effectiveness and efficiency of operating systems. You will provide technical assistance to the Fleet and Shore activities, both Navy and Marine Corps. You will develop, improve and administer the functions of a complex and diverse Material Division. You will establish schedules for the completion of internal projects and manage adherence to the schedule by applicable department and critical success factors.

Qualification

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-9 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1. Expert knowledge of Advance Traceability and Control (ATAC) process to .include experience using ERetrodgrade Management System (ERMS) to ship material and provide asset visibility. 2. Expertise in managing end-to-end delivery and chain of custody processing of high value material especially with repairable items or retrograde. 3. Expert knowledge of Department of Defense transportation policies and regulations and experience with Defense Transportation System (DTS) for managing inbound and outbound cargo, to include customs clearance, host-nation requirements, and compliance with international agreements. 4. Demonstrated proficiency with Navy or DoD warehouse and transportation distribution functions to include Navy ERP or DLA WMS or DSS. 5. Demonstrated experience in Navy or DoD Supply Chain Management functions. Education

In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience: Successfully completed a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree OR Successfully completed three full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. or equivalent degree.
