Job summary

This position is located in Washington Headquarter Services (WHS), Executive Services Directorate (ESD), Pentagon Services Division (PSD). The Division provides management policies, standards, direction and operational guidance utilized by the DoD in the National Capital Region (NCR). The incumbent serves as Supervisory Management Analyst for a wide range of programs and services at the Pentagon, Mark Center, and leased facilities.

Major duties

Incumbent typical work assignments may include the following: Serves as Supervisory Management Analyst for a wide range of programs and services at the Pentagon, Mark Center, and leased facilities to include Logistics, Conference Centers, Transportation Management, Parking Management, Nursing Mothers, Base Supply Centers, and special projects as required. Provides technical and administrative supervision to subordinate staff, including assigning work, evaluating performance. Serves as the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) for the preparation and evaluation of all budgetary and contractual matters pertaining to Pentagon and Mark Center Conference Centers. Maintains fund control and tracks budget expenditures of all programs within his/her portfolio. Provides an independent and objective analysis and evaluation of human and financial resource utilization and program performance. Provides analytical support by developing new techniques, systems, and methods for Division operations. Engages in discussions with senior management on a wide range of complex issues.

Qualification

In order to qualify for this position, you must meet the requirements described below. You may qualify at the GS-14 level, if you fulfill the following qualification requirement: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service (experience may have been gained in the private sector) that demonstrates your ability to Conducting complex management or program analyses to evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of organizational operations, resource utilization, or administrative processes; and Developing or executing program budgets including preparing cost analyses and financial reports; and Providing leadership, direction or oversight to staff or teams in the planning and execution of analytical or program management activities. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
