Job summary

This position is assigned to the NAF Support Services Division within Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation Services. Major duties

Manages all real property sustainment, restoration, modernization and new construction projects for the Morale, Welfare and Recreation Directorate (MWRD) at the garrison level. Prepares studies and analyses that justify projects as the most feasible alternatives to satisfy MWRD program needs and advises the NAF Support Chief on findings, conclusions and recommendations. Develops and maintains a current inventory of all garrison MWR and lodging facilities and analyzes proposed projects for financial viability through the preparation of return on investment (ROl) analyses. Maintains liaison with Directorate of Public Works (DPW) with respect to project programming, construction progress, master planning, facility requirements and utilization and status of projects. Designs or supervises the design of projects and reviews all capital purchase and minor construction (CPMC), non-appropriated fund major construction (NAFMC) projects and military construction, Army (MCA) projects.

Qualification

A qualified candidate must possess the following: Knowledge of the organization, mission, policies, and three to five years governing project development, design and execution is highly desirable. Work experience managing construction projects. Strong organizational skills with the capability to manage multiple projects effectively. In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred" or "Best Qualified": Experience as a manager/supervisor with an Army Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation program/division for at least one year? Experience must be reflected on your resume!
