Job summary
You will serve as a Security Specialist (Government Special Security Specialist (GSSO), in the Security Division of the Command Operations Department of FLTREADCEN EAST.
Major duties
You will establish and implement security plans and procedures (such as Standard Operating Procedures, Electronic System Security, SAP technology maintenance processes and OPSED plans). You will lead/perform security investigations for incidents involving the actual or possible loss, compromise or inadvertent disclosure of classified information. You will establish procedures for document marking, safeguarding, and use; personnel access controls, need-to-know criteria, physical storage and control. You will Identify the need for special projects and initiates milestones and goals. You will evaluate reports by analyzing facts and performing appropriate actions or interpretation of issues that impact organization, installation, command or agency.
Qualification
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: specialized experience. Examples of specialized experience: Managing and safeguarding highly sensitive national security information within a Special Access Programs (SAP) environment; Involving implementation, overseeing and ensuring strict compliance with security protocols designed to protect classified information beyond standard classified levels; Responsible for the management of the security efforts conducted under the FRCE SAP(s).
