Job summary

You will serve as a MANAGEMENT AND PROGRAM ANALYST in the EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT PROGRAM MANAGEMENT AND PLANNING DIVISION of COMNAVREG SE JAX.

Major duties

You will perform liaison functions with internal and external accounting activities and payment offices to ensure proper project financial transactions. You will provide various elements of management analysis and project support on matters related to a wide range of financial procedures, policies, processes, and regulations. You will assist with development and submittal of the annual budget. You will make recommendations based on the results analyses addressing manpower, systems, and financial systems and procedures. You will oversee the building of funding data in the automated data systems, linking funds to the appropriate Work Package, Authorization, and Job Order Number as applicable.

Qualification

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Developing, analyzing, evaluating, advising, and/or improving the effectiveness of work methods and procedures, organizations, manpower utilization, management controls and financial systems; 2) Advising management on budget and financial matters; 3) Planning, scheduling, and/or conducting projects and studies to evaluate and recommend ways to improve effectiveness and efficiencies of the facilities management functions and processes. Education

In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience: Have successfully completed a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree. OR Have successfully completed three full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. or equivalent degree. OR Have successfully completed an LL.M. degree that is related to the position being filled. OR Have a combination of experience and education that equates to one year of experience.
