Major duties
Serves as analyst and technical expert for the development of appropriate business decisions and the execution of actions that have a cross-process or a cross-site impact relative to receiving or obtaining intra-government support. Coordinates actions with intra-government stakeholders across the DLA enterprise, in order to transition business decisions. Collaborates with members of customer-facing, supplier-facing, and logistics process owners (Technical and Quality, Order Fulfillment, Procurement, and Planning) for continuous process improvements to improve intra-government processes. Collaborates with acquisition, logistics, and finance subject matter experts on developing approaches and plans for adopting emerging practices across the DLA enterprise. Assists in developing responses and procedures to overcome process problems and integrate the enterprise’s Enterprise Business Systems approach to logistics systems and operations in process execution.
Qualification
To qualify for a Management Analyst, your resume and supporting documentation must support: Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position and is directly in or related to this position. To qualify at the GS-13 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military, or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes: Experience in a wide range of work methods and processes, data management, operating procedures, and associated administrative operations impacting an enterprise. Extensive knowledge of major issues, goals, and objectives pertaining to intra-government support and financial management processes between acquisition and logistics supports programs. Advisor on financial management processes for support programs and process improvements to recommend proposals and policies. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
