Job summary
THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST T32, PDD1414P03 and is part of the AZ 161st Air Refueling Wing, National Guard.
Major duties
This position is located in the 161st in Phoenix, Arizona. The purpose of this position is to serve as the Logistics Officer with responsibility for overall program management, direction, and control of wing logistics planning that includes multiple units and may include geographically separated units where no logistics management personnel are assigned. The primary purpose of this position is to manage, direct, develop and implement policy programs and procedures for the accurate management of Wing Logistics planning. Serves as the Logistics Officer/Specialist and provides administrative and technical oversight to a lower-graded specialist. This position is responsible for fully prepared, assigned unit personnel and equipment for Aerospace Expeditionary Force/Wing (AEF/AEW) Operations around the world. THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION.
Qualification
Military Grades: Enlisted: E6/TSgt - E9/CMSgt Officer: O1/2LT - O4/MAJ Compatible Military Assignments: possess or able to qualify for AFSC 21R3 SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE Must possess 1-year specialized experience, education or training equivalent to at least the next lower grade level. Must have experience, education, or training which includes identifying activities involving logistical support operations. Experience integrating the actions of a variety of specialized support activities in order to develop a comprehensive logistics plan. Experience monitoring such functions as program planning, resource and fiscal management, training, manpower management, and/or automated data processing to meet the logistics plan. Experience identifying delays or problems and developing corrective actions. Experience in managing the function of the work to be performed. Experience which includes leading, directing and assigning work of personnel.

Knowledge of Air Force and DOD structure (USAF, ANG, AFRES, USN, USMC, and USA) which affect the use of program and related support resources (people, money or equipment) in relation to the logistics plans process. 4. Strong knowledge of computer operations, software operations, and systems management. 5. Ability to develop, write, instruct, and evaluate training process.
