Job summary

You will serve as a LEAD LOGISITCS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the FLEET SUPPORT TEAM of FLEET READINESS CENTER SOUTHWEST.

Major duties

You will be responsible for the Integrated Maintenance Concept Program functions associated with managing aircraft and weapon systems, involving many technical/program decisions. You will participate in the long-range planning, identification and assessment of logistics resources necessary to effectively support current and projected requirements. You will track execution of budgets, and expenditures of work-hours ensuring consistent application of program requirements. You will review program objectives to identify and correct deficiencies in establishing an integrated logistics support program.

Qualification

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-12) grade level in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Interpreting and understanding the planning, implementation, and execution of modification programs and maintenance programs; 2) Applying new or experimental theories and processes to Maintenance Planning; 3) Analyzing budgets as they apply to assigned and planned aircraft/systems and equipment; and 4) Formulating and identifying required logistics resources to complete all assigned goals, tasks and objectives.
