Job summary

You will serve as an IT SPECIALIST (INFOSEC) in the INFORMATION ASSURANCE DIVISION of FLTREADCEN EAST.

Major duties

You will identify specific IT system protection requirements based on the results of assessments, evaluations, and/or reviews. You will develop and implement programs to ensure that systems, networks, and data users are aware of, understand, and adhere to systems security policies and procedures. You will develop/review information security Certification and Accreditation package artifacts. You will develop system security contingency plans and disaster recovery procedures.

Qualification

FOR THE GS-11 LEVEL Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-9 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:1) Knowledge of enterprise operating systems (e.g., Windows 10/11, Windows Server) and user environment management, including profile troubleshooting, Active Directory, and Group Policy support; 2) Ability to apply cybersecurity principles in a support role, including enforcing security settings, applying patches, and resolving compliance issues in coordination with IA teams; 3) Skill in scripting and automation (e.g., PowerShell, VBScript) to streamline support tasks such as software deployment, log collection, and workstation configuration; 4) Ability to deliver responsive, courteous, and effective customer service by diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and access issues for end users via phone, email, or ticketing systems; 5) Experience configuring and maintaining user-facing resources such as printers, shared drives, and desktop applications, including driver installation, access permissions, and troubleshooting Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving. FOR THE GS-9 LEVEL Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-7 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
