Job summary
This position is located at Rock Island Arsenal, Illinois. This is not a remote position. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid.
Major duties
Performs a wide variety of technical support, focused primarily in the areas of recruitment and staffing. Extends job offers, conducts pre-employment screenings and assists selectees during pre-employment processes. Uses automated systems to track requests for personnel actions and continually updates status of assigned personnel actions. Coordinates entrance on duty dates once pre-employment requirements are met, prepares new hire paperwork and provides new employee orientation briefings.

A qualified candidate must possess the following: NF-02 (Developmental)Possess six (6) months of progressively responsible clerical/administrative experience, which demonstrates the ability to accomplish various human resources tasks and utilize human resource information systems. The experience and ability listed above must be reflected on your resume to be considered eligible for this position. NF-03 1. Possess six (6) months of work experience in a human resources profession which demonstrates the capability to perform a variety of recruitment and staffing, 2. Possess experience utilizing an automated recruitment and staffing system (i.e. USA Staffing, Avue, Resumix, PeopleSoft, etc.) 3. Possess prior experience using Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) 4. Ability to work with a variety of human resources information systems. The experience and ability listed above must be reflected on your resume to be considered eligible for this position. In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred" or "Best Qualified": In addition to the qualifications listed above, applicants will possess prior work experience in a NAF Human Resources Office in a recruitment and placement capacity.
