You will serve as a HOUSING MANAGEMENT ASSISTANT in the Community Support Division of the Housing Department of NAVSUPPACT NAPLES, Italy.

Major duties

You will receive and process applications for Military Family Housing (MFH) and counsel applicants on housing policies and procedures. You will perform assignment and termination of all MFH units in accordance with established guidelines and policies. You will be responsible for the maintenance and reporting of all inventory and utilization actions within the branch. You will assist in the coordination and tracking of government directed moves into and out of MFH. You will prepare, receive and log rent collection vouchers.

Qualification

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Providing information to staff and tenants on housing policies and regulations (e.g. rent ranges, income limits, housing admissions); 2) Negotiating with both housing residents as well as other personnel for satisfactory resolution of problems related to the use and occupancy of Military Family Housing; 3) Monitoring a Temporary Lodging Allowance (TLA) program to ensure conformance with established guidelines and track families living in the Temporary Lodging Facility (TLF); 4) Implementing administrative processes and techniques to enhance necessary housing requirements. In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience: Successful completion of at least one full year of graduate education. OR Successful completion of a bachelor's degree with Superior Academic Achievement.
