Job summary

You will serve as a FINANCIAL MANAGER in the Office of the Principle EAD for Management & Administration of NCIS.

Major duties

You will providing financial advice to the Director, NCIS and the executive leadership of the organization. This position will be managerial and will have supervisory responsibilities. You will serve as comptroller, and you will provide technical advice and recommendations to the Director. You will be responsible for accounting services, and budget formulation, preparation, submission and execution for multiple funding sources both internal and external to the department. You will analyze and evaluate financial and managerial reports produced within and outside the department You will provide integrated financial advice and guidance to organization personnel. You will administer a comprehensive planning, programming and budget system (PPBS) for NCIS to ensure the mission is funded at the adequate level.

Qualification

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Overseeing agency execution of programs associated with financial systems, tools, and policies, budgeting, accounting, and financial management; ensuring compliance of financial operations with federal management systems and requirements; AND administering the control over the financial resources of the organization.
