Job summary

This position is located at Fort Campbell, KY. This announcement may be used to fill additional vacancies throughout the program. Morale Welfare and Recreation (MWR) Child and Youth Services (CYS) Employee Childcare Fee: First Child: 100% childcare fee discount (all regular CYS employees working at least 15 hours per week ) Second and Subsequent Child: 25% childcare fee discount Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid.

Major duties

Works along with other workers, setting the pace performing non-supervisory work of the same kind and level as that done by the group led. Cleans rooms, corridors, stairways, and other areas. Sweeps, mops, vacuums, scrubs, strips and polishes using light and heavy duty powered equipment. Passes on to other workers instructions received from supervisor, and starts work (e.g., by assigning the immediate tasks to be performed by individual members of the group led). Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualification

A qualified candidate must possess the following: Must meet the physical requirements of the position. Required is prior work experience that provided the knowledge, skills and ability to perform the duties listed above to include the ability to use and maintain the tools and equipment of the trade, to keep the assigned work area neat and clean, and to communicate both orally and in writing. Must possess good customer service skills in order to interact with people. Preferred is responsible work experience in the hospitality industry that demonstrated the ability to perform the duties stated above with minimal supervision. Ability to Lead other employees. Highly preferred applicants will possess a minimum of one (1) year experience managing or leading employees. This experience must be clearly defined on your resume to be considered for Highly Preferred status.
