Job summary

This position is located at Daugherty Bowling Center located on Fort Leonard Wood, MO. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid.

Major duties

Leads 3 or more employees consisting of a combination of NA-7 Bowling Equipment Repairers, NA-05 Bowling Equipment Workers, and NA-02 Custodial Workers who are assigned to the lane area of the facility. Performs regular nonsupervisory duties and is responsible to supervisor for assuring that the work assignments of the group led are carried out. Works alongside other employees and performs duties at the NA-07 level. Maintains, adjusts, and repairs a variety of bowling equipment having mechanical, electrical and electronic parts, components and assemblies. Follows preventative maintenance schedules and performs routine scheduled maintenance Equipment service includes automatic pin placing machines, automatic scorers, ball returns, telescore and telefoul units, ball drilling machines, pin finders, and lane maintenance machines. Diagnoses equipment malfunctions, and refers to manufacturer's diagrams and specifications, schematics, and wiring diagrams. Uses test equipment such as continuity testers, voltmeters, ohmmeters and feeler gages.

Qualification

A qualified candidate must possess the following: Must be skilled in use of standard electrical test equipment, such as voltmeters, ohmmeters continuity testers, and test lamps. Skilled in performing such repairs as soldering loose connections, burnishing contact points, splicing, insulating exposed wires, replacing defective printed circuit boards. Knowledge of electrical principles and the operating characteristics of electrical and electronic components. Ability to do the work of the position under normal supervision, and demonstrated work experience directly related to the duties and skills described above. Knowledge of bowling equipment assembly, repair, and use of measuring instruments ability to interpret instructions, specification and trouble shoot equipment. Ability to lead employees engaged in technical work related to this position. Must be able to lead employees in the performance of routine duties. **Your resume should be clear and specific.
