Job summary
You will serve as a BEHAVIORAL HEALTH BRANCH MANAGER in the HEADQUARTERS AND SERVICE BATTALION of HQTSBATTALION.
Major duties
You will provide leadership to develop/implement/evaluate/improve processes and procedures to monitor the effectiveness/efficiency/implement/evaluate/improve processes and procedures to monitor the effectiveness of clinical programs. You will determine necessary program resources, identify gaps in existing services, and provide recommendations to remedy these gaps. You will perform quality assurance checks on both Family Advocacy Program and general counseling case records, maintained by staff, for accuracy and compliance with policy and regulations pertaining to the organization. You will provide supervision to Family Advocacy, General Counseling, Substance Abuse, and New Parent Support staff.
Qualification
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Managing all clinical counseling services to include Family Advocacy, General Counseling, New Parent Support and Substance Abuse Programs, as well as the Victim Advocacy and Prevention and Education programs. Education
Applicants must meet the following Basic Requirements of the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualifications Standards Manual: Applicants must posses: Degree: behavioral or social science; or related disciplines appropriate to the position. or Combination of education and experience that provided the applicant with knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field. or Four years of appropriate experience that demonstrated that the applicant has acquired knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field.
