Job summary

This position is located at Stars and Stripes Europe, Kaiserslautern, Germany. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid.

Major duties

Sells, receives and places advertising into classified, display, web, inserts, special sections and promotions as assigned. Maintains accurate customer information database. Researches new business opportunities and initiates direct solicitations. Monitors all in-coming communications. Responsible for timely consignment of camera-ready materials and initiating creative design with the graphics department on daily deadlines. Maintain accurate customer call sheets; meet sales quotas.

Qualification

A qualified candidate must possess the following: 1. Possess strong written and oral communication skills; have working knowledge of MS Office; typing skills; have excellent organizational skills; be able to work with minimal supervision and must be able to utilize the Internet for research purposes. In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred" or "Best Qualified": 1. Preferred: demonstrated business to business sales experience.
