***This position is physically located in the Marshall Islands in support of LOGCAP***
The Treatment Facility Hospital Administrator provides management oversight and operational support for healthcare administration under the LOGCAP / V2X program. The incumbent ensures efficient coordination and administration of healthcare services, policies, and programs in a Military Treatment Facility (MTF) or equivalent healthcare environment.
Responsibilities
This position description is subject to change at any time as needed to meet the requirements of the program or company.
- Plan, organize, and oversee health care administrative operations, including staffing, budgeting, patient administration, and facility management.
- Coordinate health services programs with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and quality standards.
- Assist with development, interpretation, and implementation of administrative policies.
- Support operational continuity in deployed, remote, or austere environments.
- Provide guidance and advisement to medical and administrative staff on operational matters.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Minimum Qualifications: Education/Certifications: One year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required.
- Education:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Hospital Administration or Healthcare Administration.
- Experience:
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in healthcare administration.
- Additional Requirements
- Must meet all medical, security, credentialing, and deployment requirements per contract and V2X policy.
- Must have ability to obtain and maintain a Child Care National Agency Check (CNACI) clearance requiring US Citizenship or Permanent Residency.
- Skills
- Strong organizational, planning, and administrative management skills.
- Ability to coordinate multiple operational areas and maintain workflow efficiency.
- Effective leadership and communication skills.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and hospital operations.
- Ability to work in deployed, remote, or resource-limited environments.
- Working Conditions:
- None. The worker is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions (such as in typical office or administrative work.)
- Physical Requirements:
- Light work. Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
- Work may require heavy lifting, stooping, climbing, prolonged standing, prolonged sitting, and working with or in areas where a potential could exist for exposure to physical, chemical, or biological agents.
- Employee use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required for some situations. PPE includes, but is not limited to, head, foot, torso, respiratory, vision, and hearing protective devices.
- Must comply with all Fire and Safety Regulations and post policies.
