Overview

***This position is physically located in the Marshall Islands in support of LOGCAP***

The Treatment Facility Hospital Administrator provides management oversight and operational support for healthcare administration under the LOGCAP / V2X program. The incumbent ensures efficient coordination and administration of healthcare services, policies, and programs in a Military Treatment Facility (MTF) or equivalent healthcare environment.


Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, and oversee health care administrative operations, including staffing, budgeting, patient administration, and facility management.
  • Coordinate health services programs with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and quality standards.
  • Assist with development, interpretation, and implementation of administrative policies.
  • Support operational continuity in deployed, remote, or austere environments.
  • Provide guidance and advisement to medical and administrative staff on operational matters.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
  • Minimum Qualifications: Education/Certifications: One year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required.
  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Hospital Administration or Healthcare Administration.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in healthcare administration.
  • Additional Requirements
    • Must meet all medical, security, credentialing, and deployment requirements per contract and V2X policy.
    • Must have ability to obtain and maintain a Child Care National Agency Check (CNACI) clearance requiring US Citizenship or Permanent Residency.
  • Skills
    • Strong organizational, planning, and administrative management skills.
    • Ability to coordinate multiple operational areas and maintain workflow efficiency.
    • Effective leadership and communication skills.
    • Knowledge of healthcare regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and hospital operations.
    • Ability to work in deployed, remote, or resource-limited environments.
  • Working Conditions:
    • None. The worker is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions (such as in typical office or administrative work.)
  • Physical Requirements:
    • Light work. Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
    • Work may require heavy lifting, stooping, climbing, prolonged standing, prolonged sitting, and working with or in areas where a potential could exist for exposure to physical, chemical, or biological agents.
    • Employee use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required for some situations. PPE includes, but is not limited to, head, foot, torso, respiratory, vision, and hearing protective devices.
    • Must comply with all Fire and Safety Regulations and post policies.
