Our employees are not only part of history, they're making history.Northrop Grumman is seeking motivated professionals for the role of Supply Chain Planning Specialist to join our team at our Baltimore, MD site. The successful applicant will become a part of Northrop Grumman’s Tactical Fighters Business Unit within the Mission Systems Sector supporting the Advanced Tactical Program (ATP).
Roles and responsibilities include:
Analyzes purchase material supply/demand position using Material Requirements Planning (MRP) tools and plans inventory levels based on dependent and independent Bill-of-Materials (BOM) requirements.
Manage on time req release, PO placements, and PO delivery dates to maintain program schedule.
Analyzes lead times and identifies critical path procurements.
Monitor and address supplier capacity and/or production issues.
Support supply chain execution including resource planning, material cost, forecasting, schedule performance, risk/opportunity and issue management, supplier performance, and issue resolution.
Manage material budget for contract requirements, supporting baselining/EVMS requirements including PLATO, CEAC, and EAC activities.
Identify and manage program risks and opportunities as they pertain to material requirements.
Support Program proposal activities (BOE creation, CBOM review, etc.)
Contributes to the management of GSC scope for multifaceted program(s), proposal through close-out; coordinates interdepartmental activity, facilitates internal/external team communication, coordinates with Suppliers, and integrates efforts across all GSC functions.
Liaison for assigned program(s) and supply chain management function including buyers, planners, subcontract administrators, scheduling, suppliers, material handlers etc.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of two years of supply chain, program management and/or business management experience.
- Experienced with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance
- US Citizenship
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional experience in a regulated industry to include Aerospace & Defense or Financial Services
- Proficiency in SAP or similar Material Requirements Planning (MRP) system(s)
- Control Account Manager (CAM) certification with experience in Earned Value Management methodology and subject matter
- Experience with multiple contracting formats, including Firm Fixed Price and/or Cost Reimbursable while also having an understanding for special payment provisions (progress/performance-based payments)
- Experience with terms and conditions, and/or special contract clauses/types such as long term agreements and intellectual property agreements
- Active Secret Security Clearance
