Our employees are not only part of history, they're making history.Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is looking for a Systems Engineer to support the Systems Engineering organization in Ft. Worth. This position requires on-site support and will be worked out of the Ft. Worth Location, with occasional travel (10%) to San Diego for training.
The Systems Engineer will be responsible for providing technical advice and guidance as part of a deployment team and perform hands-on technical tasks during system installation and integration activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct integration activities in a dedicated lab environment, coordinating with customers
Operate, calibrate, and maintain a multi‑vendor lab environment (digital, fiber, 1394 bus systems)
Perform digital‑bus troubleshooting and fault‑code interpretation for PHM
Resolve integration issues in a proactive, self‑managed manner
Apply RF experience for signal integrity, interference mitigation, and test procedures
Work with Anonymous Subscriber Messaging protocol, ensuring secure, compliant data exchanges
Attend quarterly training sessions in San Diego
Provide timely remote status updates to management and customers
Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision
Maintain good customer relations
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university and a minimum of 12 years related engineering experience with aircraft maintenance and/or support equipment; additional 4 years’ experience accepted in lieu of a degree or 10 years with Master's Degree; 8 years with a PhD.
Laboratory integration experience
Currently hold and be able to maintain an active DOD Secret security clearance
Candidate must be willing to work extended hours and non-standard shifts.
Preferred Qualifications:
Fighter Aircraft support equipment or aircraft experience
CNI integration and test experience
Familiarity with DoD maintenance manuals and military standard maintenance practices
Working knowledge of engineering tools such as PDM
Ability to obtain Special Program Access (SAP) clearance
