We are interested in candidates that are excited to build Anduril's next generation of imaging products from the ground up. <h3 style="text-decoration: none; text-align: start;">ABOUT THE JOB</h3> We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our Realtime Software team in Lexington, MA. You will design, develop, and optimize real-time image processing software solutions. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of high-performance, low-latency software for defense systems. <h4 style="text-decoration: none; text-align: start;">WHAT YOU’LL DO</h4> <ul style="text-decoration: none; text-align: start;"> <li style="color: #000000;">Design, implement, and optimize real-time software solutions for mission-critical applications.</li> <li style="color: #000000;">Implement image processing algorithms for GPU and embedded compute hardware in C++ and/or CUDA.</li> <li style="color: #000000;">Jump into and understand a large codebase.</li> <li style="color: #000000;">Diagnose and optimize Linux system software performance.</li> <li style="color: #000000;">Support end-to-end system delivery, from initial design to manufacturing, deployment, and sustainment.</li> <li style="color: #000000;">Work with a multi-disciplinary team on challenging problems in a fast-paced environment.</li> </ul> <h4 style="text-decoration: none; text-align: start;">REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS</h4> <ul style="text-decoration: none; text-align: start;"> <li style="color: #000000;">Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent work experience.</li> <li style="color: #000000;">5+ years of professional software development experience.</li> <li style="color: #000000;">Experience in developing software on Linux-based systems, including knowledge of system utilities and basic configuration.</li> <li style="color: #000000;">Professional experience in C++.</li> <li style="color: #000000;">Excellent debugging and performance analysis skills.</li> <li style="color: #000000;">Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance</li> </ul> <h4 style="text-decoration: none; text-align: start;">PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS</h4> <ul style="text-decoration: none; text-align: start;"> <li style="color: #000000;">Familiarity in graphics programming or image processing.</li> <li style="color: #000000;">Experience with CUDA programming and optimizing custom kernels.</li> <li style="color: #000000;">Can test and debug firmware on hardware platforms</li> <li style="color: #000000;">Experience or interest in a variety of programming languages: C, Rust, Python, Go, etc.</li> <li style="color: #000000;">Any experience in Nix/NixOS is a big plus.</li> </ul><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="title">US Salary Range</div><div class="pay-range">$166,000—$220,000 USD</div></div></div><div class="content-conclusion">  The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only.
