You will be a Software Engineer for the Military Operations Analysis team within our Aeronautics Business Area. Our team is responsible for developing and deploying software solutions that support the modeling and simulation of Lockheed Martin's 21st Century warfighter products.

What You Will Be Doing:
As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for:
• Executing software development tasks alongside our infrastructure, applications, and services as part of our continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipeline
• Monitoring core infrastructure and investigating issues that impact service availability
• Planning and implementing deployment of new infrastructure and services through scripting and automation
• Automating the deployment, scaling, and administration of containerized applications
• Troubleshooting issues with services
• Supporting key modeling infrastructure development tasks requiring strong C++ and Python background
• Collaborating with technical and non-technical users to unlock the three dimensions (people, processes, and tools)
• Working with stakeholders to define security policies and obtain security approvals

This position is in Fort Worth, TX Discover Fort Worth.

You will need to be a US Citizen, and currently possess and be able to maintain a US DoD TOP SECRET clearance, to support this government contract, as well as successfully pass a drug and background check, in order to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Basic Qualifications:
• Experience using Gitlab for process automation through CI/CD
• Programming experience with at least one modern software languages such as Python, C++, Java and/or C# including object-oriented language
• Must have active Top Secret clearance to be considered
Desired Skills:
• Experience with military simulation software development
• 5+ years of process automation experience
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Top Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
