The Work
This posting is for the Tactical Environment Simulation (TES) of the F-35 Pilot Training Device. The TES provides the threat environment for the F-35 simulator, to include weather, red and blue threats, simulated communication networks, and other features that bring a training mission to life for the pilot.
As a member of our Software Engineering team, you will:
• Design, develop, and test software products across the full development life cycle
• Participate in the Agile development process with the team
• Support debugging and issue correction activities of our software product
This position will require the selected candidate to have an Active Secret level U.S. government security clearance before starting with Lockheed Martin. U.S. citizenship is a requirement for consideration.

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science
• 2 of more years of Software experience
• Experience programming in C++
• Experience working in Linux
• Bash scripting experience
• Active Secret clearance or higher
Desired Skills:
• Experience with Git
• Experience with F-35 program
• Experience with simulated threat environments aka synthetic environments
• Experience working with virtual machines
• Experience with DevSecOps, especially continuous integration pipelines
• Experience with full software development lifecycle
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
