Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking a Senior Support Engineering Data Specialist to join the Executive Transport Technical Publications Team in San Antonio, TX. This role is pivotal in developing and analyzing technical data and maintenance tasks that support aircraft build and major modifications. The specialist will lead the creation of technical manuals and serve as the primary on-site technical representative, ensuring documentation meets certification and government verification standards.
The ideal candidate brings extensive aircraft maintenance and operations experience, with a strong background in maintenance task analysis and technical manual development. Familiarity with project management principles and integrated scheduling further enhances the ability to deliver high-quality, compliant technical publications that support fleet readiness and sustainment.
Position Responsibilities
Leads analysis and development of various technical data elements in support of aircraft build and major modification.
Develops operation maintenance tasks to achieve supportability requirements for all equipment subsystems.
Develops technical manuals for operating, testing, and maintaining various aircraft systems/components.
Represents the organization as the prime on-site technical focal for maintenance manuals being developed.
Supports technical manual Certification and Government Verification
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
10+ years of experience in Aircraft Maintenance and Aircraft Operations
3+ years of experience performing maintenance task analysis
3+ years of experience writing military technical manuals
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Earned Value Management experience
Integrated scheduling experience
Project management experience

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range: $107,950 - $146,050
