Our employees are not only part of history, they're making history.We are seeking candidates for the position of Principal / Senior Principal Systems Engineer - Integration & Test to support Advanced Technology development programs. This position is on site in the greater Baltimore, MD Area.
What You’ll Get to Do:
Plan and execute the program lifecycle, including major program milestones / reviews (e.g., SRR, SFR, SDR, PDR, CDR, SVR, TRR, peer reviews, Pre-test reviews, Post Test Reviews, Pre-Ship reviews, Etc.)
Ensure system technical compliance with the program Statement of Work (SOW) and system requirements.
Manage the vertical and horizontal technical integration throughout the product teams and program life cycle, collaborating across an entire portfolio of programs.
Collect, manage, and report the program metrics and Technical Performance Measures (TPMs).
Manage risk and opportunity and the production of core engineering work products and track the work products and associated program dependencies in the program schedule.
Coordinate between the System Architect(s), Chief Engineer(s), Product Team Lead(s), program manager(s), and customers to ensure the integrity and executability of the program technical baseline.
This position will serve on-site in the greater Baltimore, MD.
This requisition may be filled as a Principal Systems Engineer - Integration & Test or Senior Principal Systems Engineer - Integration & Test.
This position is contingent upon Funding/Contract award, special access program and acquiring and maintaining the necessary US Government security clearance per customers' requirements prior to start.
Basic Qualifications for Principal Systems Engineer - Integration & Test:
Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline with 5 years of experience, a Master's degree in a STEM discipline with 3 years of experience or a PhD in a STEM discipline with 1 year of experience
Active TS/SCI with Polygraph is required to start
Demonstrated experience with Systems Development Lifecycle - Focus on SRR to CDR
Demonstrated experience in systems development, integration, and test
Demonstrated Requirements Management from Elicitation to Verification
Demonstrated experience with Model Based Systems Engineering (SysML/MBSE)
Risk and Opportunity Management experience
Experience leading technical teams
This position requires the applicant to be a U.S. citizen
Basic Qualifications for Senior Principal Systems Engineer - Integration & Test:
Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline with 8 years of experience, a Master's degree in a STEM discipline with 6 years of experience or a PhD in a STEM discipline with 4 years of experience
Active TS/SCI with Polygraph is required to start
Demonstrated experience with Systems Development Lifecycle - Focus on SRR to CDR
Demonstrated experience in systems development, integration, and test
Demonstrated Requirements Management from Elicitation to Verification
Demonstrated experience with Model Based Systems Engineering (SysML/MBSE)
Risk and Opportunity Management experience
Experience leading technical teams
This position requires the applicant to be a U.S. citizen
Preferred Qualifications for Principal / Senior Principal Systems Engineer - Integration & Test:
Knowledge of Systems Engineering processing from generation of an Integrated Master Plan (IMP) to Work Product Breakdown into Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) for the development of complex systems of systems
Experience working with CAMEO or other similar MBSE management tools
Master’s degree or PhD in STEM or technical management
Understanding of DoD systems engineering requirements (e.g., UAF, DoDAF)
Multi-Disciplinary Engineering exposure (Software, Hardware, Electrical) and strong ability to communicate cross functionally
Experience managing contracts of $10M+
