Are you looking for a hands-on job where you get to utilize you skills in electronics and test to work as part of a multi-discipline team to deliver custom hardware and software solutions? Northrop Grumman Mission Systems (NGMS) is seeking an Electronics Integration and Test Engineer to support our growing engineering team in advanced technology development programs at our Beavercreek, OH site (Dayton, OH).
This position can be filled as a Principal Integration and Test Engineer or Senior Principal Integration and Test Engineer
What You'll Do:
- Test and evaluation of custom subsystems utilizing oscilloscopes, VNAs, and spectrum analyzers
- Soldering and rework of SMT devices
- CCA test and repair
- Hand assembly and test of custom chassis
- Documentation and execution of test plans
- Test equipment automation using Python
Basic Qualifications for Principal Engineer - Integration and Test:
- Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of relevant experience; or a Master’s degree with 3 years of relevant experience; or a PhD with 0 years (An additional 4 years of relevant experience/education can be considered in lieu of a Bachelor's Degree)
- Experience with testing, troubleshooting, and rework of electronic hardware
- Experience utilizing diagnostic equipment, including oscilloscope and signal generators
- Experience specifying and implementing test plan and procedures
- This position requires the applicant to be a U.S. citizen
- Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain the necessary US Government security clearance per requirements
Basic Qualifications for Senior Principal Engineer - Integration and Test:
- Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of relevant experience; or a Master’s degree with 6 years of relevant experience; or a PhD with 4 years (An additional 4 years of relevant experience/education can be considered in lieu of a Bachelor's Degree)
- Experience with testing, troubleshooting, and rework of electronic hardware
- Experience utilizing diagnostic equipment, including oscilloscope and signal generators
- Experience specifying and implementing test plans and procedures
- This position requires the applicant to be a U.S. Citizen
- Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain the necessary US Government security clearance per requirements
Preferred Qualifications:
- RF test experience
- Experience with component-level troubleshooting
- CCA design experience
- Python test scripting and equipment automation
- Active TS/SCI
