We are seeking highly skilled, adaptable, and innovative thinkers who are interested in supporting the application of cutting-edge commercial technologies to operational military use cases. These technologies include 5G communications, machine learning, and future wireless technologies in support of advanced battle management capabilities.
The Systems Engineer will support Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) initiatives related to engineering tools development. The candidate shall work under the guidance of the Systems Engineering Manager to uncover and resolve issues associated with the development and implementation of Engineering Tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting the maturation of the engineering digital thread
- Supporting the development of engineering PLM tools and processes
- Supporting the capture of PLM requirements for stakeholders
- Documenting stakeholder use cases
- Validation and testing of PLM tool functionality
- Directly supporting the Systems Engineering Manager on a daily basis
- Creating training/best practice documentation
Basic Qualifications (Principal):
- Must have a Bachelor of Science degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM) discipline AND 5 years of related professional/military experience OR a Master of Science degree in a STEM discipline AND 3 years of related professional/military experience OR a STEM Ph.D. AND 1 years of related professional/military experience
- Must have an active DoD Secret or higher clearance (with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation)
- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD interim Top Secret clearance prior to the commencement of employment
- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret clearance within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the Company
- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the Company
Basic Qualifications (Sr. Principal):
- Must have a Bachelor of Science degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM) discipline AND 8 years of related professional/military experience OR a Master of Science degree in a STEM discipline AND 6 years of related professional/military experience OR a STEM Ph.D. AND 4 years of related professional/military experience
- Must have an active DoD Secret or higher clearance (with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation)
- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD interim Top Secret clearance prior to the commencement of employment
- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret clearance within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the Company
- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the Company
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of design, analysis and/or engineering tools development
- Understanding of NX and modeling
- CAD experience
- Understanding of the Systems Engineering “V” model
- Knowledge of Agile and Scrum processes and methodologies
- Knowledge of risk management processes and methodologies
- Understanding of digital threading principles and requirements
- Knowledge of Teamcenter and NX (or equivalent PDM/PLM applications)
- Professional certifications
- Experience providing technical support for the development, testing, and implementation of Common Product Lifecycle Management (CPLM) (Teamcenter).
- Experience supporting CPLM user issue resolutions and triage/prioritize impact of user issues in CPLM
- Communicates effectively and clearly presents technical approaches and recommendations
