Boeing’s Global Real Estate and Facilities (GREF) organization is currently seeking a strategic, results-driven Operations Support Services Manager to support the NW Facilities Management team at any one of our Washington sites in Auburn, Everett, Renton or Seattle.

The selected leader will oversee a centralized, business-focused organization that integrates fleet management, procurement and purchasing services, radio services, mail services, investment recovery and reclamation, parts management and workforce development into a cohesive operational support function. This role is responsible for driving operational excellence through the standardization and continuous improvement of processes, enhancing service responsiveness and delivering consistent, high-quality support across regional and enterprise-wide operations. The ideal candidate will collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders and business partners to improve operational efficiency, optimize service delivery and ensure alignment with organizational objectives, strategic initiatives and evolving business priorities.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Lead and integrate multi-discipline support services (fleet, procurement, mail, radio, parts, investment recovery, workforce development) into a standardized operating model with clear Service-Level Agreements (SLAs)

  • Implement continuous improvement (Lean/Six Sigma) to reduce cycle time, lower cost-to-serve and improve service reliability and first-time accuracy

  • Build performance metrics and dashboards (on-time delivery, parts fill rate, fleet availability, cost recovery, procurement cycle time, training completion) and translate data into prioritized actions

  • Optimize inventory/parts strategies, disposal/reclamation programs, procurement practices, and fleet lifecycle management to balance availability, cost and obsolescence risk

  • Oversee mail/campus distribution operations ensuring security, compliance, and efficient routing

  • Design workforce development programs (skill frameworks, training, apprenticeships and career paths) to sustain trade and support roles

  • Partner with labor/union stakeholders, HR, finance and operations to align staffing, collective bargaining considerations and budgets

  • Manage budgets, vendor contracts and service providers; identify automation and digital opportunities to scale services

  • Act as primary business partner to operations and senior leadership (embed with teams to coach, influence and ensure accountable service delivery)

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and corporate requirements and maintain safety expectations across services

  • Establish a clear accountability model with defined roles, SLAs, routine operational reviews and leader-standard work (documented handoffs, corrective action closure)

  • Drive a customer-service mindset, tie individual and team goals to service metrics and continuous improvement and partner with HR for recognition/corrective processes

  • Promote team ownership of leading indicators (on-time service, parts availability, training completion) and transparency in performance communication

  • Up to 10% domestic travel

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience

  • 10+ years of experience with facility maintenance management and execution

  • 5+ years of experience leading or managing a team in a multi-skill discipline

  • Experience working with multiple functional organizations from multiple sites

  • Strong leadership, partnering, and organizational change skills; Program and Project management best practices and operational discipline

  • Able to work a variable shift

  • Valid driver’s license

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Advanced degree or certifications (Lean/Six Sigma, PMP)

  • Experience large-scale fleet/maintenance programs, ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) or aviation/MRO/transportation sectors

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.   

Summary Pay Range: $190,400 - $257,600
