We’re looking for an Engineering Manager – Electrical Engineering to lead a team of talented engineers developing and integrating the avionics and electrical systems that power our next-generation aircraft, X-BAT. This role is ideal for a hands-on technical leader who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys mentoring engineers, and is passionate about delivering reliable, high-performance systems from concept through production.
What you'll do:
- Lead aircraft and ground vehicle integration of custom electronics, sensors, actuators, payloads, and other flight critical sub-systems
- Demonstrate cross-functional ownership engaging with all X-BAT teams. Including manufacturing, operators, supplier development engineering, supply chain, mechanical, thermal, etc.
- Contribute to aircraft and ground vehicle architecture design
- Drive design and execution of flight critical custom avionics
- Build, lead, and mentor a world-class avionics engineering team
- Establish and enforce appropriate design processes
- Maintain technical excellence—implement rigorous design processes and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Work in a fast-paced environment
Required qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience as an Electrical Engineer
- 3+ years of lead/manager experience
- Strong technical fundamentals
- Experience with custom electronics design and system level integration

Salary compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, licenses and certifications, and specific work location. All offers are contingent on a cleared background and possible reference check. Military fellows and part-time employees are not eligible for benefits.
