This leadership role is located in Layton, UT and is required to be onsite.

Roles and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Coordinate and lead all business management functions including contracts, pricing, proposal development, accounting, program planning & financial control, financial planning and program scheduling
Provide financial business analysis and reporting with the ability to clearly communicate with senior management as it relates to financial program status and analysis
Drive cost and schedule management teams to achieve on-time deliverables supporting the business cadence with a heavy emphasis on earned value requirements and data analysis.
Translate cost inputs into a financial forecast that incorporates sound judgement and top line adjustments to provide accurate assessments for the AOP and future planning
Coordinate cost and schedule analyses and preparation of reports to ensure contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon cost and schedule parameters and government cost control guidelines
Collaborate with the program office and risk manager to ensure timely and accurate risks and opportunities are included in the financial projections
Spearhead the EAC integration with program business areas to ensure month to month alignment
Basic Qualifications:
Must either have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university and 9 years of related Aerospace Industry experience, or a Masters degree and 7 years of related Aerospace industry experience or a PhD from an accredited university and 5 years of related Aerospace Industry experience
4 years’ experience in US Government contracts along with 2 years of Leadership experience, either leading direct reports or integrated product teams
Experience in Earned Value Management
Experience briefing executive leadership in financial matters
Experience with all aspects/phases of Business Management in developing and managing financial goals and overseeing monthly financial reporting
Experience coordinating and leading a business functional area (i.e., Contracts, Cost & Schedule, Pricing & Estimating, Compliance, etc.)
Ability to translate, review and analyze data
The ability to travel 10% of the time
Active Secret Security Clearance and ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree and 9 years of related aerospace industry experience
Direct experience in multiple aspects of business management (cost, schedule, pricing and estimating and FP&A)
Working knowledge of financial business systems: ERP (preferrable SAP S/4 Hana), EVMS (COBRA) and BI Tools (Power BI)
Knowledge of FAR/DFARS and associated Federal Contracting Regulations with the ability to apply sound judgment to proposal strategy, contract formation and customer relationships
Strong analytical skills including emphasis on variance analysis
Working level knowledge of the Strike program & Manufacturing Operations
