We are seeking a Lead, Subcontracts professional to join our Camden, AR or Huntsville, AL team, bringing strong expertise in supply chain, procurement, and project management in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. In this role, you will manage complex procurements, projects, and processes, including work that may extend beyond your immediate functional area, while operating with general oversight and considerable autonomy. You will support multiple Government programs, with a key focus on managing Government procurements and leading engagement with one to three highly visible and complex suppliers. This position offers the opportunity to lead critical, high-impact initiatives and drive meaningful improvements across subcontracting processes, systems, and overall performance. Strong communication and leadership skills are essential, as you will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, influence change, and may provide guidance and support to other team members.
Essential Functions:
- Performs fundamental procurement activities including acquisition of materials, components and services at realistic and competitive prices, which meet schedule, safety and quality standards.
- Performs price/cost analysis.
- Provides proposal support.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant subcontracts experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related subcontracts experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related subcontracts experience.
- 4 years of government buying experience and familiarity with FAR/DFAR requirements.
Preferred Additional Skills:
Familiar with issuing supplier contracts to support direct programs above the TINA ($2M) threshold with minimal guidance
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Washington, and the Greater D.C, Denver, or NYC areas is $110,500.00 MIN - $205,000.00 MAX. The salary range for this role in Colorado state, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York state, Cleveland Ohio, and Vermont is $87,000.00 MIN - $161,000.00 MAX. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements.
