Boeing Global Services (BGS),Distribution Business, is looking for an Entry LevelProduct Acceptance Specialist to join our team in Hialeah, FL.

Position Responsibilities:

• Operate forklift, Proofreads paperwork for traceability for part number, lot number accuracy and test requirements

• Scanning of certifications, packing slips, test reports and pertinent documents associated with the item being received

• Assist in internal, customer and third-party audits.  Identify and communicate opportunities to increase Inspector productivity.

• Assist with the on-hold process. 

• Lift and carry cartons weighing up to 35 lbs. and manage cartons in excess of 35 lbs. utilizing available safety tools.

• Places parts in proper location and/or inspectors after identifying and verifying part numbers

• Uses a utility cart, identifies cartons by part number, uses a computer or laptop, cart, hand scanner and PC.

• Picking and filling orders using a laptop computer

• Support reaching Departmental & Company Key Results

• Performs other duties as requested, directed or assigned

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• 1-2 years of related general work experience

• Knowledge and understanding of traceability

• Fluent in English, reading, writing and verbal communication

• Detailed oriented, well organized, self-motivated and must be able to work in a fast-paced environment

• Intermediate skills in MS Office Suite and use of office equipment and computers

• Strong analytical, organizational, and troubleshooting skills

• Ability to stand and walk on cement floors for long periods of time throughout the workday.

• Basic Computer Knowledge

This role requires passing a documented color and near vision exam

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Previous aerospace inspection experience

• Ability to read blueprints

• Knowledge of AS9100 requirements

• Ability to manage multiple and competing priorities

• Understanding of Six Sigma / team concepts

• DFAR Experience

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Summary pay range: $35,000 - $49,000
