Standard Template for Job Duties/Responsibilities: Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is seeking a Summer 2026 Intern. In this role, you will apply technical skills to the improvement of the Delivery Process and Execution Team's operations via data analysis, data visualization and automation development. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of workflow development, process mapping, data programming, and data visualization. Must be a US Citizen.
Basic Qualifications:
Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Data Analytics, Statistics, or Industrial Engineering.

Course work related to data mining, data structures and algorithms, programming, or database management.

Proficient in programming languages (IE: Python, VBA, R, SQL, etc.)

Proficient in data visualization (IE: Tableau or Power BI)

Proficient in Microsoft Office

Strong foundation in technical skills

Knowledge of data analysis concepts, including data cleaning, data transformation, and data mining
Desired Skills:
SharePoint PowerShell or InfoPath experience

PowerApps or PowerAutomate

Basic knowledge of Anaconda

Proficiency in Python programming, including experience with libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and Matplotlib

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
