GENERAL FUNCTION:
This position reviews and administers complex subcontracts and supports the Contracts Department in the administration of simple subcontracts, direct-to-Government contracts, and other Purchase Orders.Position requires a working knowledge of best business practices for efficiently executing day-to-day contracting activities, a general knowledge of FAR and Government Procedures, and negotiation techniques. The individual is expected to have excellent research and communication skills, the ability to problem solve, and work well with teams across multiple disciplines and organizational bodies.

Specific Duties
- Perform New Order Procedure for all subcontracts issued within assigned region, assist with any overflow.
- Review and administer all assigned complex subcontracts, along with short-form subcontracts, simple subcontracts, direct-to-Government contracts, and Credit Card Orders as needed.
- Negotiate any and all Contract Terms and Conditions including, but not limited to, payment terms, insurance requirements, liability, termination rights, deliverables, etc.
- Support multiple project teams simultaneously, facilitating communication and knowledge dissemination among all stakeholders across multiple disciplines.
- Serve as central point of contact between Organization and Customers regarding contractual matters
- Research contractual matters, draft correspondence and notifications, and follow-up with customers and internal teams to ensure timely resolution of all project issues.
- Participate in contract-related meetings and resolve any matters affecting contract administration.
- Monitor progress of project milestones through the contract lifecycle and work to resolve issues as they arise.
- Track and disseminate information regarding contract status, compliance, modifications, deviations, and/or terminations to appropriate stakeholders.
- Serve as backup for Sales Intake Reporting when primary is unavailable.
- Serve as backup for New Order Procedure on non-assigned contracts when assignee is unavailable.
- Collaborate with the Sales team to develop proposals, prepare formal quotations, and respond to customer solicitations.
- Support non-project-specific Contracting activities, such as capturing and updating relevant FAR clauses, assisting with GSA Modifications and Annual Audits, and providing contracting guidance to other Departments.
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in business, accounting, law, or related field.
- Minimum of three years contract administration experience.
- General understanding of Federal Acquisition Regulations.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Ability to effectively and courteously communicate with internal and external customers, both verbally and in writing.
- Strong ability to negotiate terms and conditions to ensure optimal outcomes for all organizations and stakeholders involved.
- Strong organizational skills with ability to multi-task and track milestones across multiple unrelated projects.
- Detail-oriented with strong commitment to quality and accuracy.
- Strong MS Office skills (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
- Strong English and grammar skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and within time constraints.
- Familiarity with Salesforce preferred.
- Familiarity with Construction Contracts preferred.
NOTES/REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to obtain Secret personnel clearance.
