The Boeing Company is seeking a Senior Product Security Test Engineer to support the Boeing Test & Evaluation (BT&E) cyber test capability and join our team in Seattle, WA.

In addition to specific program responsibilities, the successful candidate will be joining the growing BT&E Product Security Engineering Capability. They will be joining a team of advanced Product Security Engineers from across the Boeing Enterprise, collaboratively developing best practices, techniques and tools, while fostering a community that enhances our ability to deliver exceptional value to our customers.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning and development of cyber test events for avionics systems

  • Leverage software and/or systems engineering experience to build new testing tools

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on testing objectives and requirements

  • Develop and maintain test documentation, including test plans, procedures, and reports

  • Analyze test results and provide recommendations for product improvements and risk mitigation

  • Design and drive the development of new tactics, techniques and procedures

  • Develop and mature enterprise cyber T&E best practices and solutions

  • Participate in enterprise-wide security assessments to include risk, vulnerability and penetration tests

  • Support incident response activities

  • Mentor and guide product security engineers in domain of expertise

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship

  • This position requires ability to obtain program access, for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship only

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement

  • 5+ years of experience working across Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), organizations, programs and/or functions

  • 5+ years of experience in a leadership position (e.g., project leadership, team leadership, program leadership)

  • 5+ years of experience with test events including: planning, coordinating and executing cyber events (e.g., test, risk assessments, incident response)

  • 5+ years of experience with incident response, vulnerability assessments and/or penetration tests

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • An active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)

  • Experience building and standing up cyber functions (e.g., Penetration Test Teams, Incident Response Teams)

  • Experience authoring processes and procedures

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Summary Pay Range: $192,950 - $261,050
