Job Description This is a Split Shift, Weekend shift position, working Thursday, Friday, and Saturday as 12 hour days weekend mornings 8am to 8pm. This shift receives a 10% differential and is paid 40 hours for 36 worked.

Electronic Combat Solutions (ECS) has technology, engineering and program teams that educate and mentor colleagues to deliver leading Electronic Warfare capabilities. This Weekend Split Shift team member will have manufacturing engineering local leadership within our preliminary material review cell. Our factory is fully 24/7 with fully staffed supply chain, supervisors and touch personnel. This process engineering team member will coordinate with the various functions to help support front line issues while driving continuous improvement activity for further cost reduction in the factory. A key portion of this role is assisting in the processing of non-standard workflows for material in the factory. From assisting with containments, to engineering experiments, to communicating process and yield issues to all members of the team. This role will have appropriate mentorship to help establish confidence, leadership and ownership in the individual to help support a long term job and career growth.
The team member will support our "PMR" (preliminary material review) cell and make use of our quality systems, our manufacturing execution system, MIL STD 883 requirements along with internal documentation, as well as our internal failure analysis lab as needed. Interaction with operators and engineers will be critical to understand day-to-day problems and helping to plan out paths to resolution. Interaction with quality engineers and effective communication of material problems will help shift problems back to the points of origin.
This candidate will most definitely see the next set of manufacturing challenges before anyone else, and have an opportunity to tackle those challenges with the support of a strong cross functional team.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills Technical Associates or higher education, OR Experience within the microelectronics industry of 2 years minimum.
Effective communication (Emails, written/Powerpoint, and at various levels of audiences)
Knowledge of Microsoft office tools
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills Experience with Mil Std 883
Knowledge of the Paperless MES
Lean Knowledge (single piece vs batch processing) preferred
Six Sigma training or projects preferred)
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $66017 - $105628
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
