Overview

The Contractor shallprovide program planningand execution, labor,and supervision of contract laborto meet all logistic management activity requirements and support the mission of the AAAF. The primary responsibilities of the position include managing, supervising, directing, and safeguarding Government-furnished and Government owned supplies and equipment in coordination of all Logistics activities related to efficient operations including Transportation, Shipping/Receiving, Warehousing, Ordering of Supplies and Property Management.


Responsibilities
  • Responsible for planning, scheduling, and supervising the work in accordance with contract and PWS requirements.
  • Oversee the daily, equipment management, inventory control, property control, warehousing, acquisition, quality control, receiving, shipping, assembly, packaging, and transportation functions.
  • Plans and manage projects and processes as well as allocate resources, monitor progress, and establish budgets.
  • Develops and conducts various logistics training to include mechanized material handling, hazardous material handling and warehousing.
  • Coordinates planning, conducting and execution of logistics projects using USAF logistics principles.
  • Oversee shipment, packaging, storage and distribution of mail, medical and sensitive cargo for AAAF.
  • Oversees the loading/offloading of aircraft, cargo vessels and trucks utilizing the 463L pallet and cargo net system.
  • Gathers data; analyzes and assists in interpreting data and reports. Prepares written plans, reports, schedules, and milestones to complete Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) reports.
  • Prepares reports and follows up on findings of noncompliance and notices of violations.
  • Participate in inspections of facilities and operations to ensure compliance with logistics regulations.
  • Participates in meetings regarding logistics concernsrelated to the assigned projects.
  • Interfaces with the Logistics Readiness Squadron (LRS) and property account holders to maintain Custodian Inventory Report (CIR) records and Forward Supply Point (FSP) inventories.
  • Provides technical expertise regarding hand receipt management and property accountability.
  • Manages the USAF Maximo database. Oversees reordering points, analyzes inventory trends, and recommends deviations to enhance supportability.
  • Manages the accountability of industrial plant and infrastructure building materials. Oversee pest and environmental management of supplies in storage.
  • Identifies excess and processes for turn-in in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) 52.245, Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE) systemand Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) disposition Services.
  • Property management processes for shipping, receiving, storage, transfer, and disposition of property.
  • Locates and moves materials to specified production areas.
  • Follow all Air Force and company regulations and procedures.
  • Accountable for the timely and cost-effective performance of duties.
  • Knowledge of commonly used Logistics and Transportation concepts and procedures and relevant laws and regulations.
  • Ability to deal with people in a professional and courteous manner in diversified situations.
  • Timely and cost-effective performance of duties.
  • Effectively coordinate several projects simultaneously.
  • Demonstrate ability to work well under pressure, demonstrate initiative and problem-solving skills.
  • Responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, sanitary, healthy, presentable, professional atmosphere, free of dust, clutter and trash in all working facilities and areas.
  • Responsible for completing all assigned V2X and Government required training courses
  • Responsible for proper utilization and safeguarding of all government and contractor provided property (e.g., to include government facilities, equipment, and tools).
  • Responsible for precise execution of company time reporting procedures and accurate completion of timesheet.
  • Shall perform as supplemental personnel as needed for all Installation Service functional areas.
  • Shall travel to Patrick SFB when required.
  • Performs other duties as assigned in accordance with contractual, functional, and mission requirements.

Qualifications

Qualifications

Education / Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s degreein Logistics Management or related degree OR ten (10) years Logistics experience to include a minimum of five (5) years’ experience working in a DoD environment.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience related to managing Government Property.
  • Contractor personnel accessing Government systems such as Cargo Movement Operational System (CMOS), Integrated Logistics Systems-Supply (ILS-S), and Global Air Transportation Execution System (GATES) shall have a SECRET security clearance.

Experience:

  • Ability to perform assigned work tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Knowledge of supply, shipping, and/or warehousing concepts.
  • Experience operating a personal computer using Microsoft Office products including email, spread sheets and word documents.
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance.
  • Working knowledge of the following programs: Maximo (USAF Version), Enterprise Supply-Solution (ES-S), and PIEE.
  • Must have extensive professional knowledge of USAF logistics principles, techniques and practices and logistics programs and issues.
  • Familiar with preparing and certifying cargo for shipment utilizing the463L pallet and cargo net system.
  • Prior forklift experience.
  • Must be able to lift50 lbs. if necessary
  • Valid state driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to successfully pass any employment background check and/or drug testing required on the contract.
  • U.S. Citizen.

Skills & Technology Used:

  • Good communication, teamwork and customer services kills.
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft programs such as Excel, Word, Power Point and Outlook.

Working Environment

  • Work will be primarily indoors but maybe outdoors to support various events.
  • Exposure to heat, cold, dust, noise, chemicals may occur.
  • Overtime and shift work may be required depending on contractual needs.
  • Employee must comply with all Federal, State and Local regulations and published Company work rules as well as written instructions.
  • Task specific work environment training will be provided as required.
  • Must be prepared to function in a wartime environment to support U. S. interests.
  • CONUS Assignment.

Physical Activities

  • Physical requirements include lifting to 50lbs, team lifting, climbing, extended sitting, or standing, stooping, stretching, and bending.
  • Ability to travel and move in a short moment’s notice.
