Job Description
The Global Shipping & Receiving Specialist supports daily shipping, receiving, and material handling operations. This role is responsible for preparing shipments, receiving incoming goods, and ensuring materials are properly tracked and handled. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
What you'll do:
- Prepare and process outbound shipments using carriers such as FedEx and UPS
- Receive incoming shipments, inspect for accuracy and damage, and properly log materials
- Label, pack, and stage materials for domestic and international shipments
- Maintain organization of the warehouse and storage areas
- Assist with inventory tracking and cycle counts as needed
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely shipment of parts and equipment
- Follow all safety procedures when handling materials and equipment
Work Environment: This role operates in a warehouse and shipping environment and may require lifting, standing, and working around equipment on a daily basis
Required qualifications:
- 1–3 years of shipping, receiving, warehouse, or logistics experience
- Experience using basic shipping tools (FedEx, UPS, etc.)
- Ability to lift and move packages (up to ~50 lbs)
- Basic computer skills (email, data entry, tracking shipments)
- Strong attention to detail and reliability in a fast-paced environment
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with freight shipments (LTL, FTL, or air)
- Forklift or warehouse equipment experience
- Basic knowledge of shipping documentation (packing lists, labels, bills of lading)
- Experience working in a fast-paced or high-volume shipping environment
- Familiarity with inventory or warehouse processes
- Hazardous materials (DG) awareness or exposure (not required, but a plus)

Salary compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, licenses and certifications, and specific work location.
