Heavy Equipment Operator/Rigger

Amentum is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator/Rigger to join our team on Andros Island, Bahamas to support the Atlantic Undersea Test and Evaluation Center (AUTEC) mission. This position is reserved for Bahamian citizens only. Must be a citizen of the Bahamas.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Operate various Heavy Equipment and MHE (Material Handling Equipment) in support of the contract.

• Includes on and offloading barge, range ships, rigging for crane lifts and various other construction equipment tasks.

Minimum Requirements:

• High School education and valid CDL Class A driver's license required.

• 0-1 years of relevant experience.

• Needs to have the ability to lift 75 lbs.

• Must be able to obtain the required heavy equipment licenses per the NAVFAC P 300 and NAVSUP 538 within 3 months.

• Must pass the required Crane Riggers course within 3 months.

• Must be available for overtime hours as required.

• This position is reserved for Bahamian citizens only. Must be a citizen of the Bahamas.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience operating various heavy equipment and forklifts preferred.

• Crane rigging experience preferred.

• Haz-Mat endorsement preferred.

• Tanker endorsement preferred.
