We’re looking for someone with a demonstrated ability to drive ownership and execution with minimal input. The ideal candidate for this role will have a proven track record executing in a fast-paced environment. WHAT YOU’LL DO: <ul> <li>Drive daily execution within assigned buyers in cradle to grave procurement activities. Set, monitor and drive performance as set within procurement KPI dashboard</li> <li>Track incoming Purchase requisitions for ATL procurement and ensure buyer assigned executes in the expected timeframe.</li> <li>Ensure workload across assigned buyers is leveled and managed to meet expectations.</li> <li>Key point of contact for assigned team members in addressing questions in execution of managing Requisitions, POs and Invoicing.</li> <li>Be a key point of contact for status on critical components for main product lines.</li> <li>Ensure assigned buyers are tracking critical components causing delays to production or potential delays as flagged by Engineering, Production or Planning.</li> <li>Participate in production and program meetings to report supply chain status and ensure appropriate planning</li> <li>Expedite orders to ensure required delivery dates are met and communicate status of open orders</li> <li>Participate in the management of our supplier base:</li> <li>Ensure critical suppliers are following Open order reporting, Order Acknowledgements and compliant to on time delivery expectations.</li> <li>Track and report supplier performance, supply chain metrics, and budgetary spend per program</li> <li>Assist with obtaining supplier pricing, proposal preparation, supplier capability survey submission review, establishing terms, and other supplier management, as needed</li> <li>Monitor quality and delivery performance of suppliers</li> <li>Assist in resolution of various supplier issues, including the resolution of billing discrepancies, shipment accuracy, and adherence to expected supplier performance</li> <li>Perform other duties as assigned</li> </ul> BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree with 3-5 years of experience in a buyer role OR high school diploma with 5-7 years of relevant experience</li> <li>Experience with commodity-based contract manufacturing, ERP, proposals, planning, and technical sourcing.</li> <li>History of applying standard purchasing practices and procedures including compliance for audits and traceability</li> <li>Knowledge of best practices for inventory management to maintain traceability and cost accuracy</li> <li>Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from customers, managers, employees, and suppliers.</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to take ownership and drive execution with minimal input</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment</li> <li>Ability to work on-site with up to 25% travel as required</li> <li>Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export controlled information or facilities</li> </ul> PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: <ul> <li>Experience working in defense contract manufacturing, AS9100 QMS, ITAR, and HazMat experience</li> <li>Working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR and DFAR)</li> <li>Strong understanding or MRP and demand planning</li> </ul>  <div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="title">US Salary Range</div><div class="pay-range">$111,000—$147,000 USD</div></div></div><div class="content-conclusion">  The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only.
