Job summary
You will serve as a Safety and Occupational Health Manager in the Env Prot/Occ Safety & Health Office of TRIREFFAC KINGS BAY.
Major duties
You will provide professional expertise regarding regulatory compliance with Environmental Protection Agency and Occupational (EPA), Safety and Health (OSHA) laws, rules and regulations. You will be responsible for the technical and administrative direction of all personnel and functions encompassed by the OSHA and EPA organization. You will oversee the management of the TRIREFFAC-KB Hazardous Waste management and Solid Waste programs, following all state and federal regulations. You will serve as the Chairman Safety and Health Chairpersons Committee, member of the OSH/ORM Council and professional consultant on all other safety committees. You will be responsible for the effective conduct of all OSHA and EPA programs by developing goals and program plans, determining personnel staffing levels and allocating personnel and fiscal resources.
Qualification
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE. Examples of specialized experience: Administers, directs, evaluates, implements, organizes and plans the overall comprehensive Occupational Safety, Health and Environmental Protection Programs and is responsible for the direction of the work of the office. Responsible for the technical and administrative direction of all personnel and functions encompassed by the Occupational Health and Safety (OSH) and Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) organization. Provides consultation, professional assistance and authoritative information throughout the command serving as the Commanding Officer's Occupational Safety, Health and Environmental Protection Manager.
