Job summary

You will serve as an IT SPECIALIST (INFOSEC) in the Rapid Mission Integration & Interoperability Department (MX), Expeditionary Electromagnetic Warfare Division (MXQ), Systems Development Branch (MXQQ) of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER. This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The NT-05 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to the GS-13 and GS-14.

Major duties

You will serve as a senior team member and technical advisor to develop and integrate cyber systems with Joint Counter Radio-Controlled Improvised Explosive Device Electronic Warfare (JCREW) and Drake. You will be charged with leading the sustainment of Program Office defined Information Security requirements ensuring the continued security and operational effectiveness of these critical systems. You will be responsible for providing expert guidance in all matters pertaining to the information security functions for the JCREW Increment 1 Block 1 and Drake Counter-Unmanned Aircraft Systems Family of Systems. You will be expected to establish and maintain relationships with program office leadership, NSWC Crane leadership, contractors, and technical representatives. You will be responsible to maintain required EW system certifications, research and development of tools to enhance collaboration and knowledge capabilities with the fleet, management of firewalls, and networks.

Qualification

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 (GS-11/12 grade equivalency) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: evaluating and applying cyber security concepts, principles, and practices to identify deficiencies and recommend program solutions for the success and support of Fleet Support operations. Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving.
