About the position: This position is located at Club Eifel, Spangdahlem AB, Germany. This is a Regular Part Time position (20-34 hours per week). Work schedule is Monday through Friday, including occasional weekends and holidays. Military Spouse Preference is lost if selected for this position.
Major duties
The primary purpose of this position is to provide support and assistance to the Club Manager/Assistant Manager. Responsible for planning and organizing and directing programs all within budget. Responsible for arrangements for catering activities (i.e., banquets, parties, receptions, luncheons, and other special activities) responsible for quality food and service catered by the club. Supervise Club employees, performs workforce management, recruitment, and staffing. Provides instruction and guidance to all club staff members on functions taking place during the shift. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Experience which demonstrates the ability to plan and organize social functions for large groups of people. Prior manager experience in hospitality industry is a plus. Must have experience making budgets, tracking cost of labor and cost of goods to meet Air Force Standards. Knowledge of computer-based programs needed to make contracts and floor charts (i.e., Caterease and Social Tables) Knowledge of computer-based programs used to track inventory and cost recipes (i.e., FoodTrak). Must have ability to work various shifts to accommodate guests whether events take place in the morning, evening, or weekend. Proficient with Excel, Word, and Social Media platforms.
Education
