About the position: This position is located at the Liberty Club on RAF Lakenheath, UK. This position requires shift work to provide coverage on days, evenings, weekends, holidays, or special situations. Scheduled hours will be 0-40 per week with no minimum guaranteed per week.

Major duties

Monitors operations of the club or assigned area. Responsible for issue, receipt and control of cash boxes. Prepares a report of all significant occurrences during the shift. Reviews schedule functions that are to take place during the assigned shift and ensures they are carried out as planned. Ensures that only authorized personnel use the facility and the club rules, regulations and established procedures are followed. Provides instruction and guidance to all club staff members on functions taking place during the shift. Inspects and secures facility at the end of the shift. Qualifying Experience: Must have experience which provides knowledge of club, restaurant, and retail operation. Must also possess experience which provides knowledge of cash handling procedures and sales operations such as; receipt, disbursements, examination, deposit and use of cash accountability control methods. Must have experience which demonstrates ability to provide work direction to other staff.

Education

Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution in order to qualify. FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements. You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program.
