Job summary
You will serve as a Supervisory Information Technology Specialist (PLCYPLN/INFOSEC) at COMMANDER US FLEET FORCES COMMAND.
Major duties
You will manage IT assets on enterprise and excepted networks, prepare and brief budgets and financials to support USFF IT requirements. You will serve as the Cyber Security expert and advisor to interpret, create, disseminate, and enforce cyber security policy on navy enterprise and accept networks and systems for USFF and subordinate commands. You will provide oversight and review products and plans for technical feasibility and compliance with current navy guidance. You will provide expert and authoritative advice, counsel, instruction and decisions on both technical and administrative matters to employees. You will establish/realign the Branch's priorities and appropriate performance measures to ensure that the Department's resources and activities are firmly focused on meeting FFC's mission. You will assign work to subordinate elements and teams based on priorities, difficulty of assignments, and the capabilities of employees. You will evaluate the performance of direct-reporting subordinates. You will interview candidates and make selections for supervisory and non-supervisory positions. You will hear group grievances and incumbent complaints, effecting and recommending action on disciplinary cases. You will identify and validate the current and projected development and training needs of N63 team members.
Qualification
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience managing cybersecurity authorizations via the Risk Management Framework process for Navy systems, applications, networks, and sites. Experience coordinating and managing cybersecurity inspections for Navy systems, applications, networks, and/or sites. Experience with development and execution of cybersecurity initiatives, programs, and policy, including collaboration up and down echelon to ensure alignment and implementation. Experience communicating both orally and in writing with senior Navy leaders. Experience independently planning, directing, and organizing contractor and/or government teams to accomplish objectives established by superiors and/or upper Echelon requirements.
