Job summary

You will serve as a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the Comptroller Department, Accounting/ Financial (N82) of MILITARY SEALIFT COMMAND.

Major duties

You will perform or advise on work in any of the phases or systems of budget administration. You will development, determination, and report of obligations and expenditures. You will analyze and recommend costs and benefits of alternative methods of financial management of organization's programs and expenditures You will perform a variety of fiscal, accounting, or financial management duties and responsibilities.

Qualification

To Qualify for the GS-09: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience reviewing and evaluating budget requests. Experience preparing preliminary budget estimates, financial reviews, etc. for a few relatively stable programs or program support activities. Experience providing information about, and interprets standard organizational budgetary, accounting, or financial administrative procedures, practices, and regulations. Experienced performing specialized work involving managerial or administrative work in connection with accounting systems; analytical, forecasting, and interpretive functions associated with the management and control of resources or funds; tracking and control of funds for special programs; analytical or program work pertaining to payroll, cash control, or benefit systems. To Qualify for the GS-07: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience reviewing and evaluating budget requests. Experience preparing preliminary budget estimates, financial reviews, etc. for a few relatively stable programs or program support activities. Experience providing information about, and interprets standard organizational budgetary, accounting, or financial administrative procedures, practices, and regulations.
