Job summary
You will serve as a PRODUCTION CONTROLLER (SHIPBUILDING) in the NON-NUCLEAR INSPECTION DIVISION, QUALITY ASSURANCE OFFICE of PORTSMOUTH NAVAL SHIPYARD.
Major duties
You will be the primary contact for Non-Nuclear Receipt Inspection with production shops. You will establish, maintain, and update data logs required by the Receipt Inspection Division and update status reports for all projects. You will manage the RI Operations office in the absence of foremen. You will perform review of completed software for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to specification.
Qualification
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: *Experience reviewing, assembling, and distributing the required work packages to project supervision. *Experience establishing, maintaining, and updating data logs and reports on job status for all projects. *Experience resolving problems on requested inspections. *Experience assembling and reviewing software work packages prior to distribution to projects Supervisors and Receipt Inspectors for inspection. *Experience reviewing the completed inspection software for accuracy and completeness.
