Job summary
This position is located at Fort Leonard Wood NAF Marketing Division. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid. **This announcement is open and continuous; closing 12/29/2025 or until the position is filled. Weekly reviews and lists sent to management starting 6 Nov 2025; additional lists may be sent at management request.**
Major duties
Performs marketing functional services under the general supervision of the Marketing Manager for DFMWR. Achieving sales revenue goals, cooperating with a sales team and other departments in a fast-paced environment. Conducts Commercial Sponsorship and Advertising. Keeps track of viable annual events for which to seek commercial sponsorship. Packages events, develops solicitation packets and solicits sponsorship from local sponsors. Negotiates mutually beneficial sponsorship terms and executes all supporting documents. Attends events and serves as point of contact for sponsors at events. Compiles and provides After Action Reports. Selling multimedia array of projects. Prospecting for new clients, cold calling on the phone and in person, developing advertiser target lists, managing accounts, building relationships, writing and delivering proposals, recommending advertising campaigns, coordinating advertising. Process insertion orders, obtaining client art and creative materials, assisting in the collection process, developing business partnerships to sponsor contests and events. Performs other duties as assigned.

A qualified candidate must possess the following: Demonstrated work experience in developing advertising programs and selling commercial advertising. Knowledge of Commercial Sponsorship & Advertising Practices. Technical skills to effectively perform marketing and promotion using tools of the trade and social media. Ability to communicate both orally and in writing. Ability to establish a professional rapport with activity managers and sponsor representative of varying management levels. **Your resume should be clear and specific.
